DOWNTOWN LIGHTS & HISTORY - During the holidays, the State Capitol and Downtown Raleigh come alive with Christmas magic. This family-friendly tour lasts 90 minutes with visits to Historic Oakwood, the North Carolina Executive Mansion, the giant City of Raleigh Christmas tree, Saint Mary’s School, and much much more.
GRISWOLD LIGHTS - Some of the largest and most spectacular holiday lights displays in the country call Wake County home. After a quick journey through Downtown Raleigh, this family-friendly tour heads out of town to see the biggest and brightest Christmas lights and decoration displays in Wake County. Inspired by Clark Griswold’s love of the holidays, this tour is two hours in length.
DOWNTOWN LIGHTS & NIGHTLIFE - Combine the sparkle of Downtown Raleigh during the holidays with an exciting party… this tour is 90 minutes in length, for adults 21+ only, and includes stops at Raleigh’s hottest nightlife destinations.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS - Mark your calendars! Individual Holiday Lights Tour tickets go on sale Thursday, November 1st at 6AM with tickets for kids ten and under $10 off the listed price.
GROUPS OF 6 OR MORE - Beginning Monday, October 1st groups of six (6) or more may purchase tickets for Holiday Lights Tours. There is an additional $10 priority-booking fee on each ticket purchased.
All Holiday Lights Tours begin in Downtown Raleigh at Isaac Hunter’s Tavern - 414 Fayetteville Street Raleigh, N.C. 27601
All Tours end at Isaac Hunter’s Tavern except the Downtown Lights & Nightlife option which ends at Coglin’s Raleigh - 226 Fayetteville Street Raleigh, N.C. 27601 - two blocks from Isaac Hunter’s Tavern.
Please arrive fifteen (15) minutes before the Tour’s scheduled departure to CHECK-IN with the Great Raleigh Trolley representative at Isaac Hunter’s Tavern.

All Holiday Lights Tours will make a stop at the Great Raleigh Trolley North Pole in Downtown Raleigh for refreshments and a bathroom break.
All customers are required to sign the Great Raleigh Trolley “Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk” form. The waiver can be signed electronically online or at the time of CHECK-IN.
Holiday Lights Tour tickets are non-refundable. In the unlikely event a tour is canceled by the Great Raleigh Trolley, a full refund will be provided. Non-attendance and or non-participation does not entitle a patron to a refund. All sales are final. The display lights viewed on the tour are not owned or controlled by the Great Raleigh Trolley. The Great Raleigh Trolley cannot guarantee the visibility of specific lights on the tour. The route, stops, and tour lengths are subject to change without notice.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Tickets are available online only. There are no printed tickets; the check-in process will be done electronically.
Tickets may be transferred to another individual. Because of demand, tickets may not be transferred to another tour date or time.
Clothing - dress comfortably for the cold weather; avoid open toe and heeled shoes.
Seat Belts - the Great Raleigh Trolley is not equipped with seat belts.
Food is prohibited on the Great Raleigh Trolley.
Strollers and Other Items - due to limited space on the Trolley and at Check-in, there is no storage available for strollers and other bulky items. Walkers, canes and other medical devices are permitted on the Trolley.
Accessibility - the Great Raleigh Trolley is not handicap accessible. Boarding and departing the Great Raleigh Trolley requires patrons to go up and down narrow stairs.
Weather - in the case of severe weather, including but not limited to heavy rain, high winds, lightning, ice, snow, and or extreme cold, the Holiday Lights Tour may be canceled with a full refund. Ticketed guests will be notified of weather cancellations as quickly as possible.
Parents are responsible for supervising and securing their children while on the Great Raleigh Trolley. Children may not move about the Trolley while it is in motion.
No Private Rentals - Group sales are in lieu of private Holiday Lights Tour rentals.
Alcohol is BYOB. Beer and wine are permissible on the Great Raleigh Trolley. Glass and liquor are prohibited.
Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or tobacco products on the Great Raleigh Trolley.
